A leading global consumer brand is seeking an experienced Commercial Marketing Counsel to join its EMEA legal team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.
This is a high-profile role supporting dynamic Marketing, Communications and Partnerships teams across Europe. The successful candidate will become a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, providing commercially focused legal guidance on some of the region's most visible campaigns, sponsorships, partnerships and brand initiatives.

The Role:
Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Advising on a broad range of marketing, advertising and consumer-facing legal matters across EMEA
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide variety of commercial agreements including, sponsorship agreements, co-promotional arrangements, creative agency agreements, production and media-buying agreements, influencer and talent agreements, content licensing arrangements, and consumer-facing terms and conditions
- Supporting high-profile marketing campaigns, launches, live events and strategic partnerships
- Coordinating legal reviews across multiple jurisdictions and managing relationships with local counsel
- Partnering with marketing and communications teams to identify practical solutions that balance business objectives and legal risk
- Collaborating with global legal teams to ensure alignment on policies, processes and strategic initiatives
- Developing and maintaining templates, playbooks, training materials and legal guidance for business stakeholders

The ideal candidate will have:
- 8+ years' PQE gained in a leading private practice and/or in-house legal environment
- In-house experience within a consumer-facing, technology or international brand environment would be advantageous.
- Strong experience supporting marketing, advertising, sponsorship and commercial matters
- Experience negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent judgement and the ability to provide practical advice at pace
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
