£75,000 | Remote | UK based Remote | Start: Oct 2026

I’m looking for a hands-on Senior Content Marketing Manager to join a high-growth, PE-backed cybersecurity business on a 12-month maternity cover contract.

This is a genuine content leadership role for someone who can set the strategy, but is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves and creating the content themselves.

You’ll own the content roadmap across the full buyer journey, from awareness and demand generation through to customer engagement and advocacy.

The role will cover:

  • Developing and executing the content strategy and editorial calendar
  • Creating high-quality B2B content across blogs, whitepapers, ebooks, case studies, email, nurture, landing pages and more
  • Developing content for both pre-sale and post-sale audiences
  • Supporting SEO, social, lifecycle marketing and demand generation
  • Working closely with product, sales, customer success and subject matter experts
  • Managing external PR activity, including bylines and media commentary
  • Using content performance data to optimise activity and demonstrate ROI
  • Managing freelancers and agencies where required

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
