JSS are supporting a leading business based in Reading with the appointment of an Interim Senior Finance Analyst to deliver a hands-on analytics project within the commercial finance function. Supporting the CFO, this role centres on consolidating customer-level financial and performance data for two strategic customer accounts, turning fragmented information into clear insights that can be shared with account management teams. This is a delivery-driven, hands-on role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consolidate and structure existing customer-level data and reports (financial, commercial, and operational) for two key customer accounts
  • Build a single, coherent customer information inventory, pulling together multiple data sources and reports
  • Analyse and interpret data to produce clear, actionable insight for internal stakeholders
  • Prepare and deliver concise playback materials (e.g., packs, dashboards, or summaries) to support account management teams
  • Work comfortably through incomplete, messy, or inconsistent data, bringing structure and clarity
  • Engage directly with commercial and account teams to ensure outputs are practical, relevant, and usable

  • Qualified Accountant
  • Immediately available or short notice
  • Background in FP&A or data-led finance roles
  • Advanced Excel essential; Power BI / reporting tools beneficial
  • Strong hands-on experience in data consolidation, analysis, and reporting
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment with limited direction
  • Confident engaging with non-finance stakeholders, particularly commercial or account teams
