Senior Finance Analyst
We are pleased to be working with a large, purpose-led organisation to recruit a Senior Finance Analyst for an initial three-month fixed-term contract.
This is a hands-on FP&A role supporting across management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial planning. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with large volumes of financial data and, importantly, turning that data into meaningful insight for senior stakeholders.
The role
You will play a key role within the FP&A team, with responsibilities including:
- Supporting the analysis of monthly management accounts, including detailed variance analysis and commentary.
- Contributing to the preparation, review and challenge of budgets and forecasts.
- Supporting the development of the organisation's financial plan.
- Building and maintaining financial models for scenario planning and operational decision-making.
- Producing insightful analysis to identify trends, risks and areas of underperformance.
- Translating complex financial information into clear, practical insight for senior stakeholders.
- Helping ensure financial information is accurate, robust and delivered to a high standard.

About you
We are looking for a fully qualified accountant with strong FP&A and analytical experience, ideally gained within a large or complex organisation.

You will bring:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification.
- Strong experience analysing large volumes of financial data.
- Experience developing financial models and supporting budgeting and forecasting.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Strong commercial and financial judgement, with the ability to identify risks and areas of underperformance.
- Confidence communicating financial information and influencing stakeholders.
- A highly accurate and detail-focused approach.
- Experience of Unit4 experience would be particularly beneficial
