Senior Finance Manager
Edinburgh, 4 month Contract Opportunity
A highly successful and fast-growing business is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to join its finance team in Edinburgh.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is a broad and commercially focused senior finance position offering exposure across a complex group structure and a range of investment products. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, strategic planning and the ongoing development of the finance function.
The Role
This position combines hands-on financial control responsibilities with strategic oversight and leadership. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial information to support decision-making whilst ensuring robust governance and compliance across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and delivery of monthly group management accounts
- Manage multi-entity consolidations and group cost analysis
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, monitoring performance against targets and highlighting key variances
- Manage the annual statutory accounts process across multiple entities
- Lead external audits and manage auditor relationships
- Monitor capital adequacy requirements and prepare regulatory returns
- Oversee Companies House filings and governance documentation
- Oversee reporting, audit and tax compliance
- Maintain robust financial controls and drive continuous improvement across the finance function

About You
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification
- Significant post-qualified experience in a senior finance position
