Interim Senior Finance Manager | High-Growth D2C Subscription Business | London/Hybrid
Harmonic are delighted to be partnering with a high-growth, investor-backed D2C subscription business in their search for an Interim Senior Finance Manager on a 6 month contract, who has strong experience owning month-end and leading an external audit.
The business has scaled quickly to a team of several hundred and handles a high volume of customer payments. With the year-end audit approaching, they need an experienced finance professional to keep financial control tight and lead the audit preparation, providing cover while a permanent appointment is made.
This opportunity will suit someone with strong technical accounting and audit experience who is happy to be hands-on, cares about controls and process, and can get up to speed quickly.
The Role
Working closely with the Director of Finance and the FP&A team, you will own the month-end close, day-to-day finance operations and the preparation for the year-end audit. You will manage the Finance Assistant and take a handover from the current Finance Manager.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
