Global Accounting Network are working with a leading international advertising business that is embarking on an exciting period of FP&A transformation.
As part of this transformation, the business is implementing Planful and is looking for an experienced Interim Senior FP&A Manager to play a key role in driving improvements across the FP&A function.
This is a hands-on role that combines core FP&A delivery with process transformation. You will work closely with Finance, FP&A and wider business stakeholders to improve reporting, planning and forecasting processes, introduce best-practice ways of working and help maximise the value of the new Planful platform.
The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, international environment and will be able to move between detailed analysis and reporting through to broader process improvement and transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
FP&A Transformation
- Support the ongoing FP&A transformation programme, helping to design and implement best-in-class FP&A processes.
- Play a key role in the implementation and embedding of Planful across the FP&A function.
- Review existing reporting, planning and forecasting processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy and automation.
- Develop and implement improved reporting and management information processes.
- Standardise FP&A processes and reporting across the business where appropriate.
- Help establish robust controls, governance and best-practice processes around planning and forecasting.
- Act as a key finance user and SME for Planful, supporting adoption and continuous improvement.

Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
- Continue to support the core FP&A cycle, including annual budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning.
- Produce and review financial forecasts, budgets and business plans.
- Analyse performance against budget and forecast, identifying key drivers and areas of opportunity or risk.
- Support senior stakeholders with insightful financial analysis and decision support.
- Improve the quality, consistency and timeliness of financial information provided to the business.
Reporting & Analysis
- Drive improvements to monthly management reporting and KPI reporting.
- Develop clear, commercially focused reporting that provides meaningful insight to senior management.
- Analyse financial and operational performance across multiple business areas and/or geographies.
- Identify trends, risks and opportunities and translate analysis into actionable recommendations.
- Reduce manual reporting and improve the efficiency of existing reporting processes.
Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with Finance, FP&A, Finance Transformation and wider business stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with senior finance stakeholders and operational teams.
- Work collaboratively with systems and technology teams throughout the Planful implementation.
- Support change management and adoption of new FP&A processes and tools.

About You
We are looking for an experienced Senior FP&A Manager / FP&A Transformation professional who combines strong technical FP&A capability with a genuine interest in improving processes and systems.
You will ideally have:
- Strong experience in a Senior FP&A Manager / FP&A Manager role.
- Proven experience across budgeting, forecasting, planning and management reporting.
- Experience of FP&A transformation and process improvement.
- Strong systems experience, ideally including Planful or a similar planning/EPM platform such as Anaplan, Adaptive Planning, Oracle, Hyperion or similar.
- A track record of improving reporting processes and introducing more efficient and automated ways of working.
- Strong Excel skills and excellent financial modelling capabilities.
- The ability to translate complex financial information into clear, commercially relevant insight.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working within a large, international or multi-entity organisation would be advantageous.
- The ability to operate effectively in a hands-on interim environment, quickly understanding existing processes and identifying where improvements can be made.
