Interim Senior FP&A Manager
c£500 per day - outside IR35
Oxford Circus - 3 days in
Consumer industry experience preferred / DTC
We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded FP&A professional to join a growing, fast-paced consumer business.
Working as part of the Commercial Finance team, you will play a key role in providing financial insight, supporting decision-making and helping the business understand the key drivers behind its performance. This is a highly visible role for someone who enjoys working with data, partnering with stakeholders and operating in an environment where the business is continuing to evolve.
Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, including P&L and cash flow planning, regular reforecasts and ongoing revenue updates
- Own the commercial performance of the omnichannels - Amazon, TikTok Shop
- Prepare regular business performance reviews, combining financial and operational information to identify key trends, drivers, risks and opportunities
- Support the preparation of senior management and Board-level reporting, translating complex financial information into clear and compelling business insights
- Lead scenario modelling, financial analysis and ad hoc projects to support strategic decisions, including investment, pricing, growth and commercial initiatives
- Provide clear analysis and recommendations to senior stakeholders to support business planning and decision-making
- Build strong relationships with commercial and operational stakeholders, acting as a trusted finance partner to budget owners and business leaders
- Partnering closely with Digital Marketing and be happy to focus on BAU
- Challenge performance constructively, providing insight into the financial and commercial implications of key business decisions.
- Take ownership of the development and optimisation of the business's FP&A systems, reporting tools and planning processes
- Develop and improve financial models, reporting structures and data processes to increase automation, efficiency and visibility
- Lead the implementation and adoption of new planning or reporting technology where appropriate
- Ensure financial planning tools and processes are designed around the needs of budget holders and provide clear, actionable information

- 5–8+ years’ finance experience, ideally with significant FP&A/commercial finance exposure
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) preferred
- Experience in consumer, retail, e-commerce, FMCG, beauty, fashion or similar environments
- Strong ownership of budgeting, forecasting, reforecasting and P&L/cash-flow planning
- Proven experience with commercial analysis, scenario modelling and performance reporting
- Experience analysing channel profitability / multi-channel commercial performance
- Strong business partnering skills with senior commercial and operational stakeholders
- Comfortable challenging assumptions and identifying risks and opportunities
- Experience preparing senior management / Board-level reporting
- Strong Excel / financial modelling skills and confidence working with complex data
- Experience improving FP&A processes, reporting, automation or planning systems
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Commercially minded, analytical and hands-on, with the ability to hit the ground running
