Senior HR Advisor | Dudley - fully office based | 6 months FTC | circa £45,000

Gleeson Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in Dudley to recruit an experienced Senior HR Advisor on a 6-month interim contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced operational environment and is confident providing expert HR advice across the full employee lifecycle. You'll work closely with managers across the business, supporting day-to-day HR activity while driving best practice and ensuring compliance with employment legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive HR advice and guidance to managers on a wide range of employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and performance issues.
  • Coach and support line managers to build confidence and capability in managing their teams.
  • Manage complex HR casework from start to finish, ensuring legal compliance and consistency.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and talent initiatives where required.
  • Assist with organisational change projects and business initiatives.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date and implemented effectively.
  • Analyse HR data and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across HR processes and employee experience.

About You

  • Previous experience in a Senior HR Advisor or equivalent generalist HR role.
  • Strong employee relations experience with the ability to manage complex cases independently.
  • CIPD qualified (or working towards) is desirable.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment would be highly advantageous.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the business.
  • Available to start at short notice or immediately preferred.
