Axel Monroe are pleased to be exclusively partnering a London-based client in their search for an Interim Senior Management Accountant. This will be a broad role, within a lean head office function and will cover responsibilities across Head Office Accounting, a small regional function, and some treasury-related matters.
Some of the responsibilities will include, but won't be limited to:
- Owning the Head Office month-end process and producing the balance sheet reconciliations for borrowings, creditors, accruals.
- Process journals for accruals, interest, and prepayments required for month-end.
- Lead monthly calls to explain movements against the latest forecasted results.
- Owning the regional month-end process and produce the balance sheet reconciliations for inventory including ageing, bank reconciliations, intercompany, debtors, prepayments, creditors, accruals.
- Produce daily sales and weekly inventory reports.
- Weekly stock reconciliations.
- Monthly VAT reconciliations.
- Prepare consolidated cash flow reports and standalone reports for Head Office and the region.
- Prepare net debt/net cash calculation.

This role will suit an experienced interim who is hands-on in nature, has inventory management experience, and prior exposure to working across an international business.

This will be an initial 3-4 month contract and the salary on offer is between £80-100k pro-rated (dependent on experience). This is a hybrid position with 3-4 days being required in the office.
