Interim Senior Financial/Management Accountant – PLC environment
Location: London
Salary: £80,000–100,000 FTC
Axel Monroe are currently recruiting for an Interim Financial/Management Accountant to join the Group Finance team of a listed international business.
About the Role
Reporting into the Head of Financial Reporting, this is a broad, hands-on role with responsibility across group accounting, regional finance and treasury, including:
- Ownership of month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
- Journals across accruals, prepayments, and interest
- Cash flow, net debt/net cash, and treasury reporting
- Intercompany, inventory, VAT, and working capital reconciliations
- Daily/weekly sales, cash, and inventory reporting
- Cash management and movement of funds across the Group
- Supporting and explaining monthly performance against forecast
- Payment approvals and wider treasury support

Key Requirements
We're looking for a strong, hands-on accountant who is comfortable taking ownership of the numbers and operating within a listed, international environment.
