Senior Property Management Surveyor - Client Side – Contract
Contract Opportunity with a Leading Commercial Property Company
An excellent contract opportunity has arisen for a Senior Property Management Surveyor to join a large commercial property company with a substantial portfolio under ownership and management. This is an initial 3-month contract paying £400 – £500 per day.
Our client holds a significant and growing portfolio of commercial property, spanning a range of retail, industrial, and mixed-use assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking ownership of the day-to-day property management of a varied commercial portfolio of retail, industrial, and mixed-use assets.
- Acting as the landlord's senior point of contact for occupiers, from national businesses to local independents.
- Driving income through proactive management, including lease renewals, rent reviews, lettings, arrears, and service charge oversight.
- Working closely with internal asset management, surveying, and finance colleagues to maximise asset value and minimise void periods.
- Identifying and progressing asset management initiatives, refurbishments, and value-add opportunities across the portfolio.
- Overseeing compliance, health and safety, and property maintenance across your assets.
- Supporting the onboarding of new assets into the managed portfolio.
- Providing guidance and support to junior surveyors and property managers.

About You
We're looking for an experienced commercial property management surveyor who can hit the ground running, combining strong technical knowledge with a commercial, landlord-focused mindset.
You will ideally have:
- Significant experience managing multi-let commercial property, ideally across retail and industrial assets.
- MRICS qualification (preferred).
- Solid knowledge of landlord and tenant law, lease events, and service charge management.
- Experience gained either client-side or within a consultancy managing portfolios for institutional or private landlords.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, commercial approach with the confidence to take immediate ownership of a portfolio and its performance.
- Previous contract or interim experience would be advantageous.
