Interim Service Transformation Lead (Third Sector)

Scotland

Up to c£50,000

6 Months

Lead the implementation of a major service transformation programme within one of Scotland's leading charities.

We are partnering with a national Scottish charity to recruit an experienced Interim Service Implementation Lead to drive the rollout of a newly redesigned Community Support Service model across Scotland.

This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced transformation professional who can quickly assess, mobilise and deliver change within a complex service environment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring a significant service redesign is successfully embedded into day-to-day operations, delivering meaningful improvements for the people who rely on these vital services.

Reporting to the Director of Service Delivery, you will be responsible for translating strategic design into practical implementation. Working closely with senior leaders, operational teams, volunteers, service users and external partners, you will lead the implementation of new operating models, referral pathways and approaches to service delivery.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
