JSS are hiring for an interim Tax Consultant for a leading international non-profit organisation.

This is an interim role working 3 days per week, with the assignment expected to last 2-3 months.

This is a fully-remote position paying circa £700-£850 per day.

Responsibilities include:

  • UK corporation tax compliance – work alongside our partner on the preparation of the UK corporation tax compliance and review the output prior to finalisation.
  • US parent reporting – prepare and provide information required for reporting of the US parent.
  • Permanent establishment risk – assess the existing PE position, monitor ongoing risks and develop processes to identify and manage potential exposure proactively.
  • Employment tax risk – identify and advise on employment tax exposure arising from office holders operating across multiple jurisdictions, bringing in specialist advisers where required and agreed with us.
  • Ongoing tax compliance – support the organisation in managing its short - medium term compliance requirements and deliverables.
  • Ad hoc tax structuring – provide support on tax structuring matters as they arise, drawing on specialist advisers where appropriate.
