The company

An exciting position has become available working for a successful and dynamic food business that manufactures high-end products.
They work closely with their customers to develop an innovative, great-tasting product range and have an excellent reputation for the supply of retailer brands, working very closely with the leading UK supermarkets and food manufacturers.

About the Interim Technical Manager job

You will be responsible for ensuring that products developed meet agreed customer specifications and ensuring that site standards are documented to achieve this. Also, managing the provision of technical information for customers in response to their complaints and questions.

Key tasks

  • Responsible for all company technical teams.
  • Responsible for ensuring site standards comply with customer expectations.
  • Ensure the departmental managers have agreed KPIs and ensure a culture of continuous improvement.

About You

You will need to be well-experienced within a technical capacity in food manufacturing. In addition:

  • Excellent team and people management skills and experience.
  • Experience of dealing with UK retailers and BRC standards and audits.
  • Degree educated with HACCP and Food Safety Level 4.
  • A proven track record of continuous improvement and implementation.

The Interim Technical Manager job (Ref 9120) is based in Berkshire and is paying £500 - £600 per day / £75,000 pro-rata according to your experience.

This is a 3-6 month contract, paid either pro rata daily or as the day rate above.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, office hours.
