Interim Transformation Consultant
£700–£800/day | 6–12 Month Contract | PE-Backed Energy Business
We’re working with a PE-backed energy business of c.100 employees that is looking for a hands-on Transformation Consultant to bring greater structure, governance and momentum to a portfolio of business-critical change initiatives.
Working closely with the Finance Director and senior leadership team, you’ll take an end-to-end view of the transformation agenda — assessing demand and business cases, prioritising initiatives, establishing pragmatic project governance and then helping drive delivery through to implementation.
The portfolio includes a range of business-critical projects, including CRM transformation, implementation of a new documentation management platform, FP&A system implementation, ERP process improvements and procurement, building on a recently completed digital maturity assessment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
