Our client, a PE backed technology business, are looking for an interim Treasurer to join them for a 6 month contract. Based mainly remotely with some European travel at the start of the contract, you will lead cash forecasting and analysis activities, work closely with regional and cross-functional teams, and drive improvements across the cash conversion cycle. You will be responsible for ensuring robust cash visibility, challenging performance trends, and a heavy focus on execution and delivery of working capital strategy.
Key Responsibilities;
- Lead the execution and delivery of the working capital strategy across the business, driving sustainable improvements in cash generation, liquidity, and cash conversion performance
- Own cash forecasting and performance reporting, ensuring accurate cash visibility, robust variance analysis, and clear actions to improve forecast accuracy and cash outcomes
- Drive operational excellence across the Order-to-Cash cycle, improving billing, collections, DSO, and overall working capital efficiency through strong stakeholder engagement and accountability
- Partner with Sales, Finance, and Operational teams to identify and deliver cash improvement initiatives, challenging existing processes and embedding a high-performance cash culture.
- Lead and support automation, process improvement, and cash transformation projects that enhance control, efficiency, and working capital performance
- Oversee regional liquidity management, cash optimisation activities, and intercompany funding arrangements, ensuring effective deployment of cash management best practices

Candidate profile;
- Experience in treasury and cash management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work across multiple teams and regions.
- Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills; experience with treasury or cash management systems would be advantageous.
