Global Accounting Network are working with a leading Private Bank client to support them through the sale of their Wealth Management business to another leading financial institution. As part of this transaction, approximately £3 billion of client assets will be migrated as part of a complex business transfer programme.

We are seeking an experienced Wealth Management Migration Expert on an initial 6-month contract to play a key role in delivering this migration. This is a highly hands-on opportunity for someone with genuine experience delivering asset migrations, client book transfers or business transfers within wealth management or banking.

The Role

You will play a key role in managing the end-to-end migration of client assets, accounts and associated operational processes. The migration will primarily involve transferring data and assets from T24 to Avaloq, alongside activity involving their bespoke CRM and a document storage system.

This is not a purely governance or PMO position. We are looking for someone who is comfortable getting into the weeds, investigating issues, producing and reviewing reports, coordinating stakeholders and personally driving work through to resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate day-to-day migration activity across the programme.
  • Support the end-to-end transfer of client assets, accounts, data and operational processes.
  • Develop, maintain and manage detailed migration plans and delivery activities.
  • Perform and oversee cash, account and asset reconciliations, investigating discrepancies between expected and actual migration outcomes.
  • Work closely with custody, operations and migration teams to resolve issues and exceptions.
  • Coordinate stakeholders across Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance and Front Office.
  • Identify delivery risks, dependencies and issues and drive appropriate mitigation and resolution.
  • Support client communication, onboarding and operational readiness activity.
  • Ensure migration activities meet relevant regulatory, governance and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and technology teams where required.
  • Produce and review MI, reconciliation reports and migration outputs.
  • Provide hands-on support wherever required to ensure the migration remains on track.
  • Work closely with the existing project management team and wider operations function throughout the programme.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
