Interim Year-end Financial Accountant
Contract: 4 months
Location: London
Day Rate: £350, Outside IR35

Finatal is partnering with a newly carved-out services business to secure crucial Audit Support on a 4–6-month contract. As they formalize their standalone company and build the finance function, they require an extremely hands-on, detail-oriented professional to drive the audit process. Role Purpose
The Year-End Accountant will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the financial reporting processes. You will be responsible for managing end-of-year accounting tasks, including management accounts, consolidations, and preparing the company for audit.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Oversee the consolidation of financial statements for multiple entities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls.
- Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate a smooth audit process.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and financial reports for regulatory submissions.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications and Experience
- ACCA/ACA/ CIMA qualification or equivalent.
- Experience working within an SME environment.
