Confero Recruitment Group is acting as the recruitment agent for a nationally recognised architecture and interior design practice with over 100 professionals delivering award-winning projects across the UK. From workplace environments and hospitality destinations to transport hubs, education facilities and complex mixed-use developments, their work is driven by collaboration, innovation and sustainable design.
Due to continued growth within their Glasgow studio, we are seeking a talented Interior Designer to help shape exceptional interior environments across a diverse range of sectors. This is an opportunity to join a brilliant business where interior design is integrated from the earliest project stages, giving you real influence over the user experience and overall project vision.

You'll join a business that is investing heavily in the growth of its Interior Design team and offers genuine opportunities for career progression within a global organisation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading interior design projects from concept through to completion
- Developing creative design strategies, mood boards, material palettes and FF&E specifications
- Producing detailed drawing packages and technical information
- Collaborating closely with architects, engineers and external consultants
- Presenting design concepts and solutions to clients and stakeholders
- Supporting project delivery across commercial, hospitality, education, transport and mixed-use developments
- Managing project programmes, budgets and design quality standards
- Mentoring junior designers and contributing to the ongoing growth of the Interior Design team
- Championing sustainable and responsible design principles throughout the design process
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years' experience within Interior Design, Interior Architecture or a related discipline
- Strong experience delivering projects from concept design through to site completion
- A portfolio demonstrating creativity, technical capability and attention to detail
- Previous experience in commercial workplace, hospitality, education, transport or mixed-use sectors would be highly advantageous
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite
- Revit experience would be beneficial
- A collaborative and proactive approach to design and problem solving
- Passion for creating functional, sustainable and engaging environments
