Midweight Spatial Designer | East London (hybrid) | £38k–£45k
If your SketchUp models are a thing of beauty, keep reading.
We're working with an independent East London design studio that's small in size and big on ambition. They create retail, hospitality, workplace, and experiential spaces for leading global brands and the cultural names coming up behind them. There's no house style here: every brief starts from a blank page.
The Role
You'll work alongside the Creative Director and Senior Designers on projects from first sketch to delivery on site, covering concept, space planning, 3D, visualisation, materials, detailing, and design-intent drawings. They want someone who can develop a concept rather than just execute one, and who's ready to start making their own design calls on the way to a senior role.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
