Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid Interior Designer role based in the Manchester Area, United Kingdom, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Interior Designer will develop design concepts and schemes for residential projects, focusing on loose furniture packages and FF&E selections aligned with client briefs and brand standards.

- Develop design concepts and schemes for residential projects
- Focus on loose furniture packages and FF&E selections aligned with client briefs and brand standards
- Conduct space planning, preparing mood boards and presentations
- Produce drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with internal procurement, delivery, and installation teams
- Collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and clients to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle, from concept through installation and aftercare
- Support site visits, surveys, and design reviews to ensure quality, functionality, and aesthetic consistency across all schemes
Qualifications
- Strong Interior Design and FF&E skills, including concept development, furniture and finishes selection, and creation of cohesive design schemes
- Space Planning skills, with the ability to optimize layouts for residential, student, and co-living environments
- Architecture and Construction Drawings skills, including reading and preparing drawings, plans, and technical documentation relevant to interior fit-outs
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Proficiency in design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar), and presentation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and with external partners
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with experience managing multiple projects and deadlines
- Knowledge of residential design trends, materials, and sustainability considerations; experience in Build to Rent, PRS, or student accommodation is an advantage
