I’m currently working with a globally recognised hospitality design studio that is looking to bring an experienced FF&E Designer into its London team on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover contract.
The studio works internationally across some of the world's most prestigious luxury hotels and hospitality destinations, offering the opportunity to work alongside an established design team on high-profile projects across multiple markets.
This role is specifically suited to an FF&E-focused designer who understands the detail and coordination required to take a luxury hospitality project from design development through to delivery.
The role
You’ll join an established project team and play a key role across the FF&E stages of luxury hotel projects, working closely with the wider design team, suppliers and project stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and coordinating FF&E packages across luxury hotel projects
- Producing and maintaining FF&E schedules and specifications
- Researching and sourcing furniture, lighting, finishes and decorative elements
- Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain quotations, samples and product information
- Coordinating FF&E information with the wider interior design and project teams
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and supplier information to ensure design intent is maintained
- Supporting procurement and delivery of FF&E packages
- Managing multiple packages and deadlines across live projects
- Working with international suppliers and project teams
- Contributing to the overall design quality and delivery of high-end hospitality projects

About You
We're looking for an experienced designer with a strong background in luxury hotel interiors, ideally with several years' experience working specifically across FF&E.
- Proven experience delivering FF&E packages for luxury hospitality projects
- A strong understanding of furniture, lighting, finishes and decorative elements
- Experience producing and managing FF&E schedules
- Confidence liaising with suppliers, manufacturers and project teams
- Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple deadlines and project requirements
- Good understanding of the relationship between design, specification and procurement
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a large international design environment
