Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver mechanical design across a range of building services projects
  • Support projects through RIBA design stages from concept to detailed design
  • Produce calculations, specifications, and technical reports
  • Work closely with clients, architects, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Contribute to sustainable and low-carbon design strategies
  • Attend site visits and support project delivery

What They're Looking For

  • 2–5 years' experience within a building services / MEP consultancy
  • Experience in mechanical design (HVAC, heating, cooling, ventilation systems)
  • Working knowledge of relevant UK building regulations and standards
  • Familiarity with software such as Revit, IES, or similar design tools
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team
  • Desire to progress and work towards chartership (CIBSE/IMechE)
