Job Details
Our client is a well–established building services consultancy delivering high–quality mechanical and electrical design solutions across a range of sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced building services engineer looking to take the next step in their career, working on a variety of projects while continuing to develop their technical skills within a supportive consultancy environment.

Job Overview
As an Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the design and delivery of mechanical building services projects across a range of sectors and project stages.

You will work closely with clients, other members of the design team and colleagues to develop technically robust and compliant mechanical designs, with the opportunity to take increasing responsibility for projects and client relationships as your experience develops.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience working within a UK building services consultancy is essential
  • Ideally 2+ years' experience within mechanical building services design
  • Degree/HNC/HND qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline
  • Good understanding of mechanical building services design and relevant UK standards and regulations
  • Experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit
  • Experience working across different project stages and sectors would be advantageous
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Ability to manage workloads effectively and meet project deadlines
  • Keen to continue developing technically and professionally within the building services sector
  • Must have the right to work in the UK, as sponsorship is not available
