Description:

We are hiring for our client, a respected and well-established construction company, seeking an experienced Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to manage multiple projects, with occasional larger assignments. This is an excellent opportunity for a collaborative professional who enjoys mentoring junior team members, building strong site relationships, and ensuring smooth contract delivery under NEC3 and JCT frameworks.

The Role:

  • Manage the commercial aspects of multiple concurrent projects.
  • Oversee NEC3 and JCT main contracts, sub-contracts, and collateral warranties.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to support ordering/buying as needed.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with site teams and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and develop less experienced team members.
  • Ensure contractual compliance, accurate reporting, and cost control.

The Person:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC3 and JCT contract administration.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Collaborative, team-focused approach with a commitment to mentoring.
