A well–established, multidisciplinary building services consultancy is looking to strengthen its electrical design team with an Intermediate or Senior Electrical Engineer. With over 40 years in the industry and a client list spanning some of the biggest names in industrial, commercial and logistics property, this is a business that has built its reputation on practical, buildable MEP solutions rather than just paper designs. They've had an exceptionally strong start to the year already and are growing across both their Milton Keynes and London offices to keep pace with demand.
The Role
- Deliver electrical building services designs across a varied project portfolio, with a strong weighting towards large scale industrial and commercial schemes, alongside some residential work
- Produce calculations, specifications and drawings from concept through to detailed design and construction stages
- Liaise directly with clients, contractors and the wider design team throughout the project lifecycle
- Support and mentor junior members of the team where appropriate, depending on seniority
- Get involved in site visits and surveys as projects progress
- Work closely with the sustainability team on projects requiring BREEAM input, energy strategies or low carbon design where relevant

About You
- Degree qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Proven consultancy background with intermediate to senior level experience in electrical design
- Strong technical grounding across lighting, power, fire alarm, small power and distribution design
- Comfortable using Amtech, Dialux or similar design software
- Experience across industrial, commercial or logistics sectors would be a strong advantage
- Chartered or working towards chartership is desirable but not essential
- A collaborative, hands on approach with the confidence to take ownership of your own projects
