About Us

Blackmont Consulting is a student-led consulting organization established in 2020 that supports client projects through structured analysis and research. Project teams work on defined business cases focused on performance improvement and decision support.

Key Duties

Consultants will work in teams to tackle real-world business problems over the course of a project, including:

  • Market trend predictions and strategic suggestions
  • Developing solutions for complex client situations, ensuring goals and objectives are met and results delivered on time
  • Conducting primary research among industry contacts, customers, suppliers, and competitors
  • Understanding sector, currency, political, and regulatory risks where applicable
  • Financial analysis and modelling of companies under coverage
  • Analysing financial performance, returns on capital, and valuation
  • Determining and delivering innovative strategies to target new and current clients
  • Identifying information sources, gathering and interpreting data, executing analysis, and presenting findings to case team members and client stakeholders

Requirements

  • Currently a student or recent graduate
  • Ability to commit to the role for a minimum of three months
  • Must be able to start on the 1st of the upcoming month (confirm availability before accepting an offer)
