Position Overview

We are seeking an energetic, analytical, and highly motivated Distribution Team Intern to join our Channel & Distribution Sales organization for a 6-month immersive internship program.

During this 6-month assignment, you will gain hands-on experience across the entire lifecycle of enterprise tech sales execution within NetApp's channel ecosystem. You will work closely with Distribution Account Managers, Partner Sales Managers, and Sales Operations to understand how NetApp leverages two-tier distribution and channel partners to deliver cloud, data storage, and data infrastructure solutions to enterprise customers globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of NetApp’s Go-To-Market (GTM) model, including its hybrid multi-cloud strategy, two-tier distribution model, and indirect channel approach.
  • Explore how strategic partner programs, incentives, and distribution agreements expand market reach, drive customer adoption, and support revenue growth.
  • Build experience in sales opportunity management and forecasting by tracking pipeline progression, maintaining CRM data, and using analytics to support forecast accuracy and business decision-making.
  • Gain practical exposure to NetApp’s partner and distribution model, including joint business planning, co-selling, partner enablement, and operational collaboration with global distribution partners.
  • Collaborate with distributors and channel partners and gain a better understanding of our partnerships with them, including the services they provide and how VARs, SIs, and MSPs build recurring revenue models around NetApp technology.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
