About Funteron

Funteron is a sports technology and digital marketing company focused on building innovative products that connect sports fans with leading betting operators through engaging digital experiences.

Our flagship product, ITV OddsFinder, is the official betting comparison platform integrated across ITV Racing. Powered by Funteron, it enables racing fans to compare live odds from more than 40 licensed betting operators, helping them find the best available prices before placing a bet.

Through our partnership with ITV, we reach one of the UK’s largest horse racing audiences, combining cutting-edge technology, marketing and commercial partnerships to drive engagement and responsible betting experiences.

As we continue to grow, we’re expanding both our product portfolio and international footprint, creating exciting opportunities to work with leading broadcasters, media companies and betting operators around the world.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Working with Our Marketing & Creative Agency

You’ll work closely with Schoolhouse Lane, our marketing and creative agency, helping deliver high-quality campaigns and content across ITV OddsFinder and future Funteron products.

Responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the day-to-day liaison between Funteron and Schoolhouse Lane.
  • Preparing creative briefs.
  • Coordinating design requests and marketing assets.
  • Reviewing creative work and providing feedback.
  • Supporting campaign planning and execution.
  • Collaborating on innovative ideas to grow traffic, engagement, and brand awareness.

This provides valuable experience working with both a fast-growing technology company and an experienced external creative agency.

Global Growth & Media Partnerships

As Funteron expands internationally, you’ll have the opportunity to support our global growth strategy and future media partnerships.

You’ll be involved in:

  • Supporting relationships with current and future media partners.
  • Assisting with research into new international markets.
  • Preparing partnership presentations and commercial materials.
  • Helping coordinate marketing activity for new product launches.
  • Supporting discussions with broadcasters, publishers and strategic partners.
  • Identifying opportunities to grow audiences through new media partnerships.

This offers rare exposure to international business development and commercial strategy, making this far more than a traditional internship.

Traffic Growth & Innovation

One of your biggest responsibilities will be asking one simple question: “How do we get more people using ITV OddsFinder?”

You’ll help generate and execute ideas around:

  • Viral marketing campaigns.
  • Influencer partnerships.
  • Racing content.
  • Referral programmes.
  • Community engagement.
  • AI-powered marketing.
  • Automation.
  • SEO.
  • Digital PR.
  • Product improvements.
  • New audience acquisition channels.

We encourage creativity, experimentation and data-driven decision making. If you have a great idea, we’ll help you bring it to life.

Live Sports & Weekend Coverage

As a sports media business, some of our busiest and most exciting periods take place during weekends and major sporting events. The role will occasionally require flexibility to work weekends, particularly during major horse racing festivals, ITV Racing broadcasts and peak sporting events, when audience engagement is at its highest.

During these periods, you’ll help:

  • Deliver live social media coverage.
  • Monitor and optimise marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate promotional activity with partners.
  • Identify opportunities to maximise traffic and audience engagement.
  • Support the team during key commercial moments.

This is a fantastic opportunity to experience the fast-paced world of live sports marketing and understand how major events are planned, executed and optimised.
