Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid Intern Information Technology Specialist role based at Shree Krishna Temple in Coventry. The intern will support day-to-day IT operations, including maintaining computer systems, assisting with network setup and monitoring, and ensuring reliable access to digital services used by temple staff, volunteers, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Supporting users with basic technical queries
- Helping to implement secure practices for systems and network access
- Assisting with the upkeep of temple websites, communication tools, and digital platforms used for events, education, and community outreach
The intern will work closely with temple leadership and volunteers to ensure technology effectively supports worship, cultural programs, and community activities.

Qualifications
- Foundational skills in Information Technology and basic Network Administration
- Skills in Troubleshooting and Network Security to support safe and reliable system operations
- Strong Customer Service skills to assist staff, volunteers, and visitors with IT-related needs
- Ability to learn quickly, follow documented procedures, and work collaboratively in a community-focused environment
- Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, or Linux), common office software, and web-based applications
- Interest in or openness to learning about Hindu culture, community work, and faith-based organizational settings
- Relevant coursework, certifications, or training in IT or related fields; prior volunteer or internship experience is beneficial
