Role Description
The International Water & Sanitation Finance Intern role is a contract position based on the UK, supporting the design, analysis, and documentation of financing solutions for water and sanitation initiatives. Day-to-day tasks may include:

- Conducting desk research on sector financing models
- Analyzing project data and investment options
- Preparing concise briefings, presentations, and reports for internal and client use
- Assisting with reviewing policies and programs
- Contributing to knowledge products such as case studies and training materials
- Collaborating with team members across different countries
- Participating in virtual meetings
- Maintaining clear records of work and deliverables

The position is designed to provide hands-on exposure to international development finance in the water and sanitation sector.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Background in economics, finance, public policy, international development, or a related field (current student or recent graduate).
- Strong analytical and research skills, including the ability to work with qualitative and quantitative data.
- Proficiency with common office and collaboration tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, online meeting platforms).
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines across multiple tasks.
- Demonstrated interest in global water and sanitation issues and inclusive development.
