Deliver support in shaping policing strategy and make an impact.
We have a unique opportunity to support the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) as an Intern on a 12-month contract.
You’ll develop professional skills, knowledge and experience within the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) and which will provide you with a valuable insight into how the OPCC works with partners and communities for the people of Derbyshire. You will be supporting in the development and review of policies, procedures, communications.
You’ll be
- Providing administrative, research and project support to their host team within the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC).
- Supporting in the gathering, analysis and presentation of information to inform decision-making and service improvement.

You must
- Be studying for a degree in a relevant subject such as politics, public administration, policing, law, criminology and media.
- Have a high standard of presentation of written work (both handwritten and typed) including accurate spelling and use of grammar.
- Have oral presentation skills and experience of the oral presentation of research findings.
