About The Job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group Corporate Office in London, the Intern, Regional Operations (Europe & Americas) will support the Regional Operations team responsible for overseeing operational performance across Mandarin Oriental's hotel portfolio in Asia and the Middle East.

This is a full-time internship with a commitment of 6 months, providing valuable exposure to hotel operations, business performance, project management and corporate leadership. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders and gain insight into the strategic and operational initiatives that support Mandarin Oriental's portfolio across multiple markets.

The role reports to the Regional Vice President, Operations, Europe & Americas.

As Intern, Regional Operations (Europe & Americas), you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting regional operational projects and strategic initiatives across multiple hotels and markets.
  • Assisting with the preparation of reports, presentations, briefing materials and business updates for senior leadership.
  • Conducting research and analysis to support operational reviews, performance discussions and decision-making.
  • Maintaining project trackers, dashboards, action logs and supporting documentation.
  • Assisting with performance monitoring and the preparation of operational and business performance reports.
  • Coordinating activities and follow-up actions with General Managers, hotel leadership teams and regional functional leaders.
  • Supporting cross-functional initiatives involving Operations, Commercial, Finance, Food & Beverage, Human Resources and other corporate departments.
  • Using AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot, to support content development, analysis and workflow efficiency.
  • Providing administrative and project coordination support to the Regional Operations team.

As Intern, Regional Operations (Europe & Americas), we expect from you:

  • Currently pursuing, or recently completed, a degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Hotel Management, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
  • Available to commit to a full-time internship for 3 to 6 months based in Hong Kong.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Teams.
  • Comfortable using AI and digital tools to improve productivity and support business activities.
  • Proactive, curious and eager to learn in a dynamic corporate environment.
  • Able to work collaboratively with stakeholders across different functions, cultures and regions.
