Internal Account Manager (B2B) — Rydal Group, Peterborough

£28k–£35k base | Uncapped commission — every deal pays | Office-based, PE1

Rydal Group is a UK MSP and telecoms provider — IT support, cyber security, VoIP, connectivity and business mobile contracts — with our own ISP, our own data centre, and over 120 staff. We look after around 2,700 B2B clients, and we're growing fast: alongside strong organic growth, we actively acquire other MSPs and telecoms businesses, so our client base grows quicker than a standard business — and so do the opportunities for the people who work here.

We're hiring two Internal Account Managers to drive revenue from that base.

Let's be direct: this is a phone job with a number attached. If you're not someone who naturally picks up the phone, this role is a non-starter, no amount of product knowledge makes up for low activity. If you are that person, everything else we can teach you. and we'll give you the tools to win, AI-powered sales tools that handle the focus so your time goes on conversations, not spreadsheets.

The job

  • Own a portfolio of circa 300 business clients — real accounts with real spend, yours to grow
  • High activity, every day — structured call time into your base, driven by you, not by whatever lands in your inbox
  • Retain your clients' existing spend, then build on it — know your contract end dates, get ahead of expiries, upsell at renewal
  • Cross-sell across the full range: IT support, cyber security, VoIP, connectivity, business mobile and Microsoft
  • Hold proper commercial conversations — a client's contract, their spend, their gaps — not courtesy check-ins
  • Hit a monthly target and know where you stand against it every week

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Who we want

  • Work ethic — you're active, you're consistent, and you don't need managing into making calls
  • Comfortable on the phone at volume — it's the core of the job, every day
  • Organised enough to work a 300-account book — you prioritise, you keep your pipeline honest, you don't let accounts go quiet
  • Coachable — full training on our products and systems is provided; we're after people who'll put it to work
  • You want to be paid on output — every deal you close pays commission, uncapped
  • Telecoms, IT or MSP knowledge is a genuine bonus — but we'd take the right attitude without it over the wrong attitude with it
