Role: Internal Account Manager
Location: Sheffield
Job Type: Full time, permanent

We service some of the worlds’ most exciting existing and developing markets from motorsport, industrial, and medical to defence, aerospace, and specialist automotive.
We now have a fantastic career opportunity for a permanent Internal Account Manager who has experience within an engineering/manufacturing environment.
You will be providing end-to-end customer service support while acting as the primary internal point of contact for assigned customer accounts. The role ensures accurate order processing, proactive customer communication, and effective coordination across internal departments to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and account growth.
Key Tasks:
- Accountable for managing allocated customer accounts as the primary internal contact
- Raise and manage customer quotations via CRM, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Liaise with purchasing and engineering to obtain pricing and technical information
- Process sales orders in ERP (Syteline), ensuring pricing, specifications, and revisions are correct
- Proactively manage customer communication regarding orders, delivery schedules, and issues
- Coordinate with planning and operations to ensure on-time delivery and resolve delays
- Monitor order progress and provide regular updates to customers
- Analyse quotation success rates, wins/losses, and customer trends
- Identify opportunities for repeat business, upselling, or service improvement
- Raise invoices, credit notes, and manage RMAs where required
- Ensure export compliance and correct documentation for international orders
- Maintain accurate customer data, pricing, and forecasts within CRM/ERP systems
- Support internal reporting for Sales and Business Development teams
- Participate in system improvements and process optimisation initiatives

What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Previous experience within a similar role
- Prior sales support experience
- Ability to use ERP & CRM systems
- Previous experience within an engineering / manufacturing environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

- Awareness of complex supply chains
- Experience within High tech manufacturing (aerospace/Defence/Motorsport)
- Knowledge of magnetic assemblies/rotors

Pay: £33,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
