Senior Internal Account Manager
Location: Kimbolton, (near Peterborough)
Office Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30am - 5:00pm
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (DOE)

If this sounds like you, a leading supplier within the packaging and ecommerce support sector is looking for a Senior Internal Account Manager to join their growing team and take ownership of a portfolio of high-value customer accounts.
About the Company
Our client is a well-established, family-owned business with over 20 years of success supplying packaging solutions, machinery, PPE, and related products to ecommerce retailers, wholesalers, manufacturers, and distribution businesses. They work with major brands and large-scale supply chains, operating in a thriving and essential industry sector, and has ambitious plans to double its turnover over the next five years, making this an exciting time to join their journey.
What's the Role About?
As the Senior Internal Account Manager, you'll take responsibility for managing and developing a portfolio of Platinum accounts, representing some of the company's largest-spending customers. You'll become a trusted commercial partner, ensuring exceptional service while identifying opportunities to increase revenue and strengthen long-term relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow revenue across an assigned portfolio of key accounts.
- Identify opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and introduce additional product lines.
- Act as the main contact for client enquiries, service issues, and commercial discussions.
- Conduct regular account reviews to strengthen customer relationships and retention.
- Analyse purchasing patterns and customer data to forecast sales activity and identify growth opportunities.
- Work closely with field sales, logistics, customer service, and marketing teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
- Maintain accurate customer records, pipeline activity, and performance reporting through HubSpot CRM.
About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Previous experience in B2B sales, internal sales, account management, or customer relationship management.
- A proven track record of developing existing customer accounts and increasing revenue.
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness.
- The ability to analyse sales data and identify growth opportunities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities.
- A proactive, organised, and customer-focused approach to account management.
