Role Description

The Internal Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dereham, responsible for managing and growing relationships with existing customers. This role involves:

The Internal Account Manager will:

  • Monitor account performance
  • Identify opportunities for service improvements and cross-selling across SECURALL®, SECUREBRAND®, and SECURETECH®
  • Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to resolve issues promptly
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems
  • Prepare regular reports on customer activity
  • Support the wider sales team with customer insights and administrative tasks

Qualifications

  • Customer relationship management skills, including the ability to build trust, handle queries professionally, and maintain long-term accounts.
  • Sales and commercial awareness skills, such as identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities and supporting pricing and quotation processes.
  • Administrative and organizational skills, including accurate data entry, CRM usage, report preparation, and task prioritization.
  • Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, confident phone and email etiquette, and effective collaboration with internal teams.
  • Basic understanding of data protection and GDPR principles, with an interest in secure destruction, compliance, and sustainability.
  • Ability to work on-site in Dereham, manage a busy workload, and maintain a high level of attention to detail under time constraints.
  • Previous experience in account management, customer service, or internal sales in a B2B environment is highly beneficial.
  • Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, CRM tools) and a willingness to learn company systems.
