Salary: Up to A GBP 30,000 OTE

Location: Wakefield

Start: ASAP

On behalf of our specialist distribution clients, we are looking to appoint a proactive and motivated Internal Account Manager focusing on public clients, to increase sales and profitability, as part of their team based in Wakefield.

What You'll Do

As Internal Account Manager you will focus on the company's public clients, developing new business and long-term business relationships. A typical day will involve proactive telesales calls, delivering a high level of service to result in increased sales and profitability.

Duties Include

  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • Responding to quotation requirements in a timely manner i.e. same day
  • Increasing the product range sold to each customer
  • Utilising the sales tools provided to maximise the full potential and spend of each customer
  • Achieving increased sales of an agreed percentage on existing customers
  • Maintaining accurate computerised records are kept up to date
  • Setting and monitoring weekly and monthly objectives
  • Actively supporting all marketing campaigns/outbound promotions by maximising take-up where possible through analysis.

What You Need

We're keen to speak to sales professionals with 2+ years experience in a similar role. Candidates should have excellent communication and influencing skills.

  • Ability to multitask, be organised, agree priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
  • Sound knowledge of customer base, customer needs and sales cycle
