Internal Audit Associate / Internal Auditor
We are exclusively recruiting an Internal Audit Associate / Internal Auditor for our client, a commercial business, due to significant growth of the business and therefore an increased need for good governance and controls. This is a brand new position, representing the Head Office and its values and vision as a Group.
Working with the Head of Audit, and reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, as part of a team focused on governance including risk, controls, this role is seen as a high-profile position, with significant importance.
Whilst the Group has a head office (HQ) in central London, UK, this role will be completely remote - therefore you can live anywhere in the UK you choose, although there will be significant domestic and travel requirements otherwise as your audit work will cover the various operations, offices, and markets in which the Group operates. When you're not travelling, of course you will work from home.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
