Internal Audit Manager – Transformation & Change Risk

πŸ“ London (Hybrid) | πŸ’° Β£90,000 per annum (basic) | Internal Audit

About the Role

We're looking for an Internal Audit Manager – Transformation & Change Risk to provide independent assurance to the CEO and Board that our transformation and change programmes are effectively governed, risks are managed within appetite, and delivery is controlled, sustainable, and aligned to strategic objectives.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced audit professional with a strong grounding in programme and change delivery to play a pivotal role in our second-line assurance over major transformation initiatives.

Reports to: Head of Internal Audit – Operational Risk Assurance

What You'll Do

  • Support the Head of Audit in developing and executing a risk-based Transformation and Change Audit Plan, providing assurance to the Audit Committee and Board on programme delivery risks
  • Contribute to high-level Internal Audit planning by building an understanding of our major transformation programmes, change portfolios, and strategic initiatives
  • Determine risks and key controls in scope, and develop test plans using a range of audit techniques β€” from observation and interviews to data analytics and AI tools
  • Deliver audit work through continuous monitoring, in-flight reviews, and standard audits as appropriate
  • Assess complex audit findings, taking a balanced view of impact and root cause
  • Prepare and present audit reports with clear, actionable recommendations
  • Maintain robust documentation in line with GIAS requirements, the IA Charter, and IA methodology
  • Coordinate and oversee Internal Audit colleagues and co-sourced partner resources
  • Follow up on management actions to ensure risks are effectively addressed
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the business and attend key committees
  • Stay abreast of emerging risks, regulatory developments, and industry practice in transformation and change
  • Champion continuous improvement in audit practices, including the use of AI tools

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer β€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
