The Role
To carry out internal audits following the agreed internal audit schedule necessary, make sure that the company system, procedure and records are accurate and kept updated
- To make sure that the daily standards of the factory are maintained.
- To lead, when necessary, any second- or third-party audit.
- To carry out monthly traceability as per agreed schedule.
- To provide technical support to all departments.
- To carry out any other Technical job as necessary.
- Operate to Best Company Practices.
- Carry out fabrication and glass and plastic audits when required.
- Audit, review and sign relevant records as required.
- Support Technical QAs and Champions in their duties and make sure that their tasks are carried out according to the relevant procedures.
- Be able to carry out a full traceability forward and backwards of any product within customer-required timeframes.
- Collect and review relevant information in order to prepare for second or third-party audits.
- Be familiar with customer specifications and QAS and provide them as necessary.
- Audit against relevant customer generic specification.
- Follow up NC raised in the internal audits or daily inspection and ensure that they are dealt with by the relevant departments.
- Contact and guide service suppliers when necessary.
- Ensure that service supplier recommendations are being followed up by relevant departments.
- Participate in department projects where necessary.

- BRC external auditor and audit experience
- HACCP
- Customer generic specifications
- Customer primal specification
- Animal welfare training
- Legislation
- Previous experience in a similar role is required.
- Basic Excel and Word skills including creating graphs
- Food Safety
- Basic Meat technology
- Be able to work under pressure
- Time flexibility and organizational skills in order to keep the daily, weekly, and monthly workload and audit schedule up to date without delay
- Capacity to lead a second or third-party audit
- Attention to detail
- Self-motivated
- Continuous improvement focus

Hours of Work
Mon-Fri (7am-3:30pm) - however, alternative start and finish times may be considered
