Audit Programme Manager – 6 Month FTC

West London | Hybrid – 2 days office / 3 days home

Salary: c. £40,000–£50,000

Reference: AW/44976

We are recruiting an Audit Programme Manager for a well-established professional organisation on an initial six-month fixed-term contract.

This is a hands-on role with responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of an established outsourced audit programme. Working closely with an external audit provider, members, and internal stakeholders, you will ensure the programme runs effectively, audits are delivered to schedule, and results and follow-up actions are managed appropriately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of the audit programme.
  • Monitor the external audit provider against agreed schedules and volumes, ensuring audits are completed on time.
  • Review audit outputs and communicate results to members.
  • Manage member queries, issues, and follow-up actions, including sensitive conversations following poor audit results.
  • Maintain programme trackers, spreadsheets, records, and associated administration.
  • Support committee meetings, including coordination, attendance, minute-taking, and follow-up actions.
  • Liaise effectively with members, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The Person

We are looking for someone with previous experience working within an audit, assurance, compliance, or operational review programme, together with strong programme coordination and stakeholder management skills.

This is a genuinely hands-on management role. You will need to be comfortable getting into the detail, from maintaining Excel-based trackers and coordinating programme activity through to communicating audit results and handling more challenging stakeholder conversations. You will be well organised, comfortable working autonomously, and able to get up to speed quickly. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a number of competing priorities will also be important.
