Thistle Seafoods is one of the largest family-owned manufacturers of quality seafood products in Europe. We supply outstanding products at every price point to leading retail and food service customers within the UK, Europe, USA, Canada, and Australia. Our Head Office is based in Peterhead in the North-East of Scotland, and our second site based in Uddingston in the outskirts of Glasgow.

Thistle Seafoods has a fast-paced, challenging, and inclusive working environment. Employees work extremely hard and take great pride in the work they do. We believe in providing all staff with the opportunity to develop and progress and we actively encourage internal promotion.

The Role

The internal auditor is responsible for conducting all Internal Technical Audits across both sites. The role requires extensive travel between sites and plays a key part in ensuring compliance with customer, BRC, and third-party technical standards. Responsibilities include maintaining the internal audit matrix, completing audits to required frequencies, managing the close-out of non-conformances through effective cross-functional collaboration, and maintaining relevant KPIs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
