Internal Auditor

Location: London
Contract: PAYE day rate
Working Pattern: 5 days on site London
Start Date: Late October 2026 - May 2027

Role

We are seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to lead an ECB desk mapping review and trade booking review within a large banking environment. This role will focus on assessing booking model governance, supervisory oversight from the receiving entity, and the robustness of the risk management infrastructure supporting traded activities.

Responsibilities

  • Review ECB desk mapping.
  • Review trade booking models and booking arrangements.
  • Assess supervision and oversight from the receiving entity for trades.
  • Check whether the risk management infrastructure is in place.
  • Review the level and percentage of remote booking activity.
  • Assess limits, controls and governance in place.
  • Identify gaps and provide clear findings.

Requirements

  • Proven Internal Audit experience within a large bank.
  • Strong experience in trade booking reviews, desk mapping and markets-related audits.
  • Good understanding of risk management infrastructure, entity oversight and limits frameworks.
  • Must be able to work 5 days on site in London.
