Role Description
- Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with financial advisers, wealth managers, and other intermediaries through proactive telephone, email, and face-to-face engagement.
- Generate new business opportunities through targeted outbound activity, identifying prospective client cases, and increasing awareness of the firm’s investment offering.
- Manage a pipeline of opportunities from initial engagement through to investment, ensuring consistent follow-up and effective progression of prospective cases.
- Deepen relationships within existing adviser firms by identifying opportunities to engage additional advisers, teams, and offices.
- Provide advisers with timely, accurate information and support to help progress client opportunities efficiently.
- Work closely with the wider sales and business development team, including arranging meetings for external Business Development Managers and sharing relevant market intelligence.
- Follow up on marketing campaigns, events, webinars, and other lead-generation activity to maximise engagement and generate new opportunities.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and work towards agreed activity, pipeline, and asset-raising targets.
- Develop a strong understanding of the firm’s investment offering and the wider market in order to communicate confidently and effectively with advisers.

Qualifications

- Strong business development, sales support, and relationship management skills, with experience handling pipelines and investor or client outreach.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, data tracking, and reporting, along with solid analytical and Excel skills to interpret and present key performance metrics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear presentations, marketing materials, and professional correspondence.
- Organizational and project management abilities, including attention to detail, time management, and capacity to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Understanding of venture capital, private markets, or financial services; prior experience in investment, fundraising, or institutional sales is highly beneficial.
