About the role

You'll lead the delivery of engaging communications around change and commercial priorities, ensuring employees and leaders across GB & EMENA stay informed, connected, and inspired. From strategic transformation programmes to fast-moving business updates, you'll play a key role in helping our people navigate change and succeed together.

What you’ll be doing

Leading Change & Transformation Communications

You'll play a central role in helping our people navigate change with confidence. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll develop communication strategies that bring transformation initiatives to life, creating clear, engaging, and human-centred messaging that builds understanding, trust, and alignment across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the trusted communications partner for regional change and transformation initiatives.
  • Developing end-to-end communication plans that connect business priorities to employee experiences.
  • Turning complex or sensitive topics into clear, engaging, and accessible communications.
  • Equipping leaders and managers with toolkits, briefing materials, FAQs, and key messages to communicate with impact.
  • Tailoring communications for diverse audiences across office, plant, and frontline environments.
  • Using feedback and engagement insights to continuously refine communication approaches and maximize effectiveness.

Bringing Commercial Priorities to Life

You'll help employees connect with the commercial goals that drive our success, transforming business strategy into stories that are relevant, engaging, and meaningful.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building strong partnerships with Commercial, Sales, Marketing, Category, and customer-facing teams.
  • Translating market trends, customer insights, and business priorities into compelling employee communications.
  • Creating impactful stories and case studies that showcase collaboration, customer success, and business performance.
  • Supporting commercial leaders with engaging presentations, speaking notes, and leadership communication materials.
  • Connecting perspectives from across the business to demonstrate how teams work together to achieve shared goals.

Delivering High-Impact Business Communications

From fast-moving business updates to sensitive organizational announcements, you'll provide expert communications support when it matters most.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading or supporting high-priority communications across a wide range of business topics.
  • Managing time-sensitive communication requests with sound judgement, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Supporting the delivery of communications relating to emerging issues, significant business updates, and critical moments.
  • Developing scalable communication resources, templates, and guidance that enable effective message delivery across the organisation.

Contributing to a High-Performing Regional Communications Team

As part of an integrated regional team, you'll collaborate closely with colleagues to deliver communications that inform, engage, and inspire.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to major regional campaigns, leadership communications, employee events, and strategic storytelling initiatives.
  • Creating high-quality content across multiple channels while maintaining a consistent brand voice and editorial standard.
  • Collaborating across the team to share expertise, support priorities, and ensure seamless delivery.
  • Leveraging digital and AI-enabled tools to enhance content creation, localization, measurement, and effectiveness.
  • Driving continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify processes, share best practice, and increase communication impact.

What you’ll need to be successful

We're looking for a skilled communications professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about helping people understand, navigate, and embrace change. You'll be an exceptional storyteller, trusted advisor, and relationship builder, capable of translating complex business priorities into communications that inform, engage, and inspire.

You'll bring:

  • Significant experience in internal, corporate, or change communications within a complex organization.
  • A proven ability to simplify complex information and transform it into clear, engaging, and audience-focused communications.
  • Experience supporting organizational change, transformation programmes, or sensitive business initiatives with confidence, empathy, and sound judgement.
  • Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to translate business, customer, and market insights into meaningful employee communications.
  • Outstanding writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with excellent verbal and written English.
  • The ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders across multiple functions, levels, and geographies.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset, coupled with the confidence to challenge constructively, advise senior leaders, and work independently when required.
  • Confidence using digital communication platforms and content creation tools to deliver impactful communications.

Nice to Have

While not essential, we'd be particularly excited to hear from candidates who have:

  • Experience working within FMCG, food manufacturing, or another large, complex multinational business.
  • A track record of communicating across different countries, cultures, and employee audiences.
  • Experience developing content for town halls, all-hands meetings, leadership events, webcasts, or large-scale employee communications.
  • Exposure to content localization, translation management, or adapting communications for regional markets.
  • Experience using AI and digital tools to enhance communication quality, efficiency, and insight generation.
  • Dutch language skills (for candidates based in Amsterdam).

About the team

You'll join a regional Internal Communications team of three, reporting into a structure led by the Director of Internal Communications, alongside a Business Partner and another Internal Communications Specialist. This close-knit team works together to shape and deliver communications strategy across the region.
