Job Title

Internal Communications & Content Executive

Job Description

So, who are we?

IG Group is a FTSE 100 fintech operating across five continents, serving over 1.4m customers and handling billions of dollars in transactions, built on scale, trust, and proof. We didn't pivot to innovation; it's how we've always operated. What that means for the people who work here is real: complex problems worth solving, the technology and resources to tackle them properly, and the kind of scope that's rare in established businesses.

The bar is high. Bring a curious and forward-thinking mindset and we'll give you the platform to define what comes next.

Join us at IG. The future gets built here.

Your Team

You'll join Group Internal Communications, a small, fast-paced central team that owns how IG talks to its own people. We run the channels, campaigns, and moments that keep colleagues across 18 countries informed, connected, and clear on where the business is heading. You'll report to the Senior Manager, Group Internal Communications, and work closely with everyone on the team. This is a delivery role with no direct reports, and your impact will show in the quality and pace of what we build together.

Your role in the Team’s Success

This is a hands-on content and delivery role for someone who likes to make things. You'll give our internal communications added creative and tactical capacity, producing the assets, videos, slides, and stories that keep our campaigns and everyday comms moving, and setting up sustainable systems for the future. It's a chance to build a strong portfolio early in your career, on work that reaches every colleague at IG.

What you’ll do

Content production

  • Create design assets and resources that support comms campaigns and activities, using a mix of traditional and AI-driven tools.
  • Film colleagues and events, and edit short and mid-form video, including simple motion graphics, titles, and captions.
  • Prepare slides, and produce content and short films for the digital screens around our offices.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Storytelling

  • Scout for story ideas across the business and help turn them into content people want to read and watch.
  • Interview colleagues, on camera and in writing, to surface the stories worth telling.

Delivery support

  • Support delivery of the weekly Group newsletter and our other channels, including onsite digital screens.
  • Help manage our Viva Engage community, keeping conversations active, moderating day to day, coaching and supporting leaders, and creating content that gets colleagues involved.
  • Produce assets and materials for campaigns, events, and townhalls.
  • Provide reliable, general support across the team's delivery, including assistance with event management.

What success looks like in the first three to four months

By the three to four month mark, you'll be the team's go-to for content production: trusted to take a brief and turn it around well, and on time. You'll have a real body of work behind you, from campaign assets to films to screen content that has gone out across the business. You'll know our channels inside out, you'll be bringing story ideas of your own rather than waiting to be handed them, and colleagues will come to you because they know you deliver. You’ll have also built reliable processes and systems we can use for sustainable, ongoing creative production.

What You’ll Need

Skills and experience

  • A portfolio that demonstrates your video and design work. What you've made matters more here than how long you've been doing it.
  • Confident with video editing and design, using a mix of traditional and AI-driven tools.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills.
  • A capable writer with an eye for a story.
  • Around one to three years in a content, video, or comms role, or a strong portfolio in place of formal experience.
  • Proactive, curious, and full of ideas.
  • Organised, with a completer-finisher instinct for getting things done.
  • Collaborative and easy to work with.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Discreet and trustworthy. Much of our content is confidential, and we need to know it is safe with you.

The Perks

It really is more than a job. We think like a start-up, but we deliver like a FTSE 100 — so the bar is high, and we won't pretend otherwise. We work hybrid, which means three days in the office.
