Frontier is an independent video game developer and publisher, crafting immersive gaming experiences with fun gameplay and unparalleled artistic quality. Renowned for its iconic creative management simulation games, Frontier captivates players worldwide with immersive and authentic game worlds. The modern studio is located in the vibrant technology hub of Cambridge (UK). The talented team at Frontier are dedicated to nurturing our existing portfolio and delivering our exciting future roadmap.

This role is offered on a full in-studio basis or a hybrid basis (minimum 3 days per week in the studio). We can provide a comprehensive relocation support package as part of any offer, should you need to relocate.

What’s the Role?

We're looking for an Internal Communications & Engagement Advisor to join Frontier's Studio Communications & Engagement team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

As part of Frontier’s People Team, you'll deliver internal communications, engagement activity and employee events. You’ll work with teams across the studio to create informative and engaging content for a range of channels. You'll use feedback and insight to identify opportunities for improvement and be comfortable working across a variety of digital platforms and business systems.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in internal communications or employee engagement who is looking to take ownership of defined projects and continue developing their skills. We'll also consider candidates from related fields, such as marketing, PR or events, who can demonstrate relevant transferable experience.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Delivering internal communications and engagement campaigns across a range of topics, including news about our games, wellbeing and benefits initiatives, seasonal activity, employee-led groups and operational updates.
  • Creating, editing and publishing content across Microsoft Teams, the intranet, email, video and digital signage, ensuring information is accurate and easy to access. Using feedback, insight and performance data to help evaluate activity and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinating employee social events, including communications, logistics and on-the-day delivery, and attending events that take place outside of standard working hours (typically 1-2 evenings per month and 2-3 weekends per year).
  • Working with stakeholders to understand requirements and develop content that meets communication objectives. Using independent judgement to prioritise work, resolve day-to-day issues and escalate risks where appropriate.
  • Maintaining content plans, project trackers, inboxes, calendars and other team resources to support the delivery of communications and events.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
