About the Role

We are looking for a proactive, organised, and collaborative communicator to join Mintel’s Marketing team as an Internal Communications Executive. In this role, you will support the delivery of clear, consistent, and engaging internal communications that help employees understand business priorities, stay connected to leadership, and adopt new ways of working. This is a hands-on role focused on execution, coordination, and content delivery at scale, working across teams to ensure communications are timely, aligned, and easy to understand.

What you will be doing

Supporting the delivery of internal communications

  • Create and deliver engaging content across internal channels (e.g., SharePoint, newsletters, email updates)
  • Support business-wide updates, including performance communications and company initiatives
  • Help ensure communications are clear, consistent, and aligned to Mintel’s tone and priorities

Supporting managers and teams

  • Collaborating to develop toolkits, templates, and messaging to help managers communicate effectively with their teams
  • Support department-level communications across regions and functions

Supporting change communications

  • Support the coordination with Transformation and Operations teams to develop communications for key initiatives, helping employees understand what’s changing, why it matters, and what to do next
  • Help translate complex information into clear, employee-friendly messaging

Managing channels and content

  • Maintain and update internal communications channels (e.g., intranet)
  • Support content planning and coordination across teams
  • Ensure information is easy to access and up to date

Coordinating communications

  • Support the internal communications calendar and help manage timing across different updates
  • Help ensure communications are well-sequenced and not duplicative
  • Reinforce best practices for internal communications across the business

Tracking and improving performance

  • Monitor engagement across channels (e.g., views, clicks, feedback)
  • Identify opportunities to improve clarity, reach, and effectiveness

  • Employees understand what’s happening in the business and why it matters
  • Employees are supported in adopting new tools, systems, and ways of working
  • Communications are consistent, timely, and easy to follow
  • Managers feel confident communicating with their teams
  • Internal channels are trusted, relevant, and well-used
  • Key initiatives are supported by clear, effective communication

Experience that will help you succeed

You don’t need to meet every requirement, but experience in the following areas will be helpful:

  • 1-3 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or employee engagement
  • Creating content for multiple channels (e.g., intranet, newsletters, email, presentations)
  • Supporting communications for projects, organisational change, or the rollout of new tools, systems, or ways of working
  • Working with digital workplace tools (e.g., Microsoft365)
  • Coordinating across teams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
